    LHU Faculty of IT Organizes Casting Talent Hunt 2026: Connecting Students with Real-World Corporate Environments

    On June 12, 2026, the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University, in collaboration with Vietastra Global Trading, organized the Casting Talent Hunt 2026. This initiative aims to discover and develop talented, passionate students in e-commerce, livestreaming, digital content creation, brand communications, and digital business operations.

    The program was designed to provide an environment where students can confidently express themselves, discover their potential, and align closer with real-world corporate expectations. It also stands as a key bridge between higher education and professional practice, offering LHU E-Commerce students valuable opportunities to hone their skills, shape their career paths, and better prepare for the labor market in the digital economy.

    Support from University, Faculty, Department, Enterprises, and Guests

    The Casting Talent Hunt 2026 welcomed the attendance and support of representatives from the Faculty of Information Technology, the E-Commerce Department, partner enterprises, and special guests from the media, entertainment, and e-commerce industries. The presence of these delegates and guests helped cultivate a professional, inspiring atmosphere and provided students with diverse, practical industry perspectives.

    Representing the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University were MSc. Van Dinh Vy Phuong – Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, and MSc. Bui Thi Thu Trang – Head of the E-Commerce Department. The guidance and active participation of the Faculty and Department leadership underscore LHU's commitment to practice-oriented education, enhanced corporate networking, and expanding experiential career opportunities for students.

    Representing Lac Hong University, MSc. Khuat Kieu Diem Nhi – Head of the Communications Department, also attended to support networking and media outreach, promoting the dynamic and creative image of LHU students.

    The program also featured Ms. Duong Thi Khanh Huyen – Chairwoman of Vietastra Global Trading, the co-organizing partner connecting students to real corporate environments. Additionally, the event was supported by Ms. Truong Thi Thu Trang – Chairwoman of TPA Entertainment, Mr. Nguyen Phu Van Nam – E-Commerce Operations Manager, alongside special guests including the 1st Runner-Up of Miss Grand University Vietnam Nguyen Ngọc Anh and 4th Runner-Up Tran Thi Thu Huyền.

    The active involvement of university leaders, faculty members, corporate executives, and guests not only elevated the quality of the program but also gave students direct exposure to real-world demands in rapidly growing sectors such as e-commerce, livestreaming, digital media, personal branding, and content creation.

    A Practical Playground for E-Commerce and Content Creation Enthusiasts

    During the event, students auditioned for various role categories aligned with contemporary market trends: Livestream Host & KOL/KOC, Design & Media, Content Creator & Brand Communications, and E-Commerce Operations. These roles mirror actual positions within modern enterprises, requiring students to demonstrate not only technical knowledge but also communication skills, creative thinking, presentation abilities, problem-solving capacity, and a proactive learning mindset.

    The atmosphere was vibrant, driven by the enthusiastic participation of the students. Every candidate had the opportunity to introduce themselves, showcase their personal strengths, share their career aspirations, and test their capabilities before the evaluation panel. Consequently, the program succeeded not only in discovering high-potential individuals for the organizers but also in helping students gain a clearer understanding of the practical requirements of roles within e-commerce and digital communications.

    Through their performances, students had the chance to practice self-confidence, communication skills, presentation style, and situational processing mindsets. These are critical skills for students throughout their academic journey, practical training, and eventual transition into professional work environments.

    Casting Talent Hunt 2026 was more than just a selection process; it served as a career orientation activity for students.     These sectors represent the core training pillars of the E-Commerce program at Lac Hong University. The ECOMIT E-Commerce Club will assist in coordinating communications and accompanying students throughout their specialized training and skill development activities.

These attributes are crucial to enhancing student competitiveness, especially as e-commerce, livestreaming, social commerce, and digital media continue to see surging workforce demands.
