Business Administration Training Programme – The First in Dong Nai to Achieve AUN-QA Accreditation.

After more than one month of assessment, on the morning of 18 August 2021, Lac Hong University officially received notification from the AUN organization that the Business Administration training programme had completed the assessment process and was recognized as meeting the AUN-QA standards. The Business Administration major of Lac Hong University is the first programme in Dong Nai Province in the field of Business to achieve AUN-QA accreditation and is the sixth programme of the University in the province to meet AUN-QA standards. The Business Administration programme achieved a score of 4.09/7 (score 4: meeting AUN requirements; score 5: exceeding AUN expectations). This result contributes to elevating the University’s training brand to a new level. It serves as strong evidence of quality assurance in terms of strategy, system, and implementation of training functions, scientific research, connection, and community service of Lac Hong University.

To achieve this result, over the past period, the University assigned staff members of specialized teams to participate in self-assessment training and to learn from universities whose programmes had already achieved accreditation standards. In addition, the University invited reputable experts to conduct self-assessment training for faculty leaders, lecturers, and staff. Through this process, the University has gradually adjusted and enhanced the quality of its training activities, scientific research, technology transfer, staff development, and engagement with enterprises and the community.

At present, AUN places great emphasis on quality assessment and activities such as lecturer and student exchange, as well as credit transfer articulation among universities. One of the key factors for these activities to proceed smoothly is that training programmes must be recognized as meeting quality assurance standards. The Business Administration training programme of Lac Hong University achieving AUN-QA accreditation serves as motivation for the University to steadfastly pursue its goal of becoming a quality university in Vietnam and the region.
