The meeting was conducted via Zoom with the theme: “RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING POLICIES AT FOREIGN ENTERPRISES.”
Through the session, the two speakers shared and provided students with information about recruitment policies, training and development policies, compensation policies, and salary structures at Mabuchi Company and Plus Company. This helped students gain a better understanding of the companies as well as important considerations when applying for positions at these enterprises.
What are the company policies?
Specifically, regarding recruitment policy, the company establishes a set of criteria related to personal qualities and corporate culture for selected candidates. Afterward, candidates undergo a probationary period to assess their competence, attitude, and ability to meet job requirements.
The training and development policy aims to enhance workforce capacity and improve work quality. The company develops training plans and allocates budgets for training activities to support employee development. Different training formats are provided for employees, and their competencies are evaluated upon completion of training.
In addition, there are compensation and salary policies for employees. It can be said that this is the policy of greatest concern to employees and one that frequently receives feedback. The policy must ensure employees’ livelihoods while also maintaining the company’s cash flow. Employees are entitled to public holidays and leave in accordance with State regulations, with some flexibility based on company policies, as well as annual travel and vacation programs.
There were many questions from students, such as: What level of English proficiency is required? Does the company provide free training for employees, or do employees have to pay? How long does it take to receive a salary increase, and what criteria are used for performance evaluation? Each question and concern was thoroughly addressed and explained by the speakers. Today’s topic was truly engaging and received great interest from students, as employment opportunities after graduation are of significant importance. In addition to providing information, the two speakers also shared valuable experiences and skills with students.
The meeting concluded at 20:45 on the same day and promises to return with more meaningful and valuable topics for students.
