COVID-19 Could Not Prevent Students from Graduating on Time.

Graduation is a significant milestone, recognizing the achievements of a long academic journey and marking an important step toward maturity in each individual’s life. As the battle against the pandemic continues, more and more institutions have had to temporarily suspend operations, and schools were among the first to be affected.

Recently, the Faculty of Business Administration and International Economics organized the distribution of graduation diplomas for students graduating in 2021.

As usual, the Faculty would hold a formal graduation ceremony. However, due to the ongoing complexities of the COVID-19 situation, the University and the Faculty were unable to organize an in-person graduation ceremony at this time. To ensure that students could receive their diplomas on schedule, the Faculty of Business Administration and International Economics, Lac Hong University, arranged for diploma distribution to graduating students after they had completed all required procedures and graduation conditions.

In addition, to preserve memorable moments, the Faculty organized photo sessions for graduates wearing academic gowns and holding their diplomas.

This was perhaps one of the most memorable moments for the graduates. It was the first time the Faculty of Business Administration and International Economics, Lac Hong University, organized diploma distribution in this manner. Many plans and expectations could not unfold as originally hoped. While the entire country was striving to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and non-essential activities were suspended, students certainly understood and shared in these difficulties.

More than anyone else, the lecturers have always been deeply concerned about the quality of education, students’ competence, and their continuous improvement, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the best interests and values for students. At Lac Hong University, lecturers care for students like devoted parents, attentively supporting them in all activities and aspects of university life.

University years are a time when students are expected to become independent, self-motivated learners and researchers. That belief may still hold true, but it is not enough when describing students at Lac Hong University. After four years of university, students have gained not only knowledge and cultural values but also intellectual capital and a deep appreciation for the care and dedication of their lecturers.

It is hoped that in your future careers and lives, you will remain steadfast in facing new challenges and contribute to the development of future generations. Lac Hong University will always keep its doors open for you to return for higher levels of study and to continue contributing meaningful values to national education.
